Just Here For The Beer .Com presents…Beer My Valentine’s, February 14^th, 2007 at the Granville Island Brewery located on Granville Island. The event will feature gourmet chocolate from Roger’s Chocolate and craft beer from Granville Island Brewing. This special event is a great chance for people who love beer, chocolate, and those with a sense of adventure.

Just Here For The Beer .Com is a Vancouver-based beer tasting and education company that has been teaching classes throughout the Lower Mainland for the past four years. “This is the most popular private event we offer to clients” according to Colin Jack, president of Just Here For The Beer .Com and the Beer My Valentine’s coordinator. The beer and chocolate pairings were also a featured event at the 2006 West Coast Chocolate Festival last October. “Beer is a lot more versatile to pair with food when compared to wine. Chocolate is no exception. The flavour in the roasted malts used to produce certain types of beer creates all sorts of flavours like caramel, toffee, and chocolate” explains Jack.
