Suggested Beer Pairings: Flavoured Ale, Nut Brown

Comments: The fruity sweetness in the beer will mix nicely with the pears to compliment the sweetness in the food. The Nut Brown Ale will mix nicely with the cinnamon and chocolate to bring out sweetness in the food and roasted sweetness in the beer.
Sweet Pear Flatbread
- 1 Flatbread base (Can be bought at Rocky Mountain Flatbread Store)
Base
- 3 - 4 Tbs Mascarpone cheese
- ½ Tsp Fresh lemon juice
- ½ Tsp Baileys
- 1 Pear
- ¾ Tbs Organic sugar
- ¼ Tsp Ground cinnamon
Topping
- ¾ Tbs Organic sugar
- ¼ Tsp Ground cinnamon
- 2 pc Mint leaf
- 1 Tbs Chocolate sauce ( Buy from organic food store)
Directions
Mix all the ingredients listed under "base" with a whisk in a small bowl. Spread evenly on Flatbread base and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Wash pear, cut in quarters. Slice those quarters thinly and arrange nicely on flatbread. Bake on the barbeque slow heat for 10 - 15 minutes until the base is nice and crispy. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Slice the flatbread into 8 slices and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Sprinkle chopped mint leaves on top and enjoy!
